Riversdale Arts 51st Mixed Media Exhibition

Riversdale Arts has hosted an extensive offering of mixed media art from throughout New Zealand for 51 years, bringing artists & their works to the small, rural, Northern Southland town of Riversdale for all to enjoy each July. The Exhibition is the centrepiece of the Riversdale Arts Inc. annual calendar, & encompasses an Exhibition Gift Shop, an Exhibition Space for the local pre & primary schools, Tutor led workshops, & an Exhibition Cafe. The Exhibition is launched with a Gala Opening Evening for the first glimpse of the curated event.

Riversdale Arts Inc. annually produce a stunning Mixed Media Exhibition, showcasing artwork selected by invitation only from artists based throughout New Zealand, for display in our exhibition held in Riversdale.

Each year, an extensive offering of outstanding works of art are displayed in gallery-like settings to their highest esteem, producing a sophisticated exhibition to rival any in the larger centres.

2024 celebrates the annual Exhibition's 51st year and will be open for audience from 19th July until 28th July.

The Gala opening event is held on the Friday 19th July from 7pm, offering the public their first opportunity to view & purchase pieces, meet artists, & mingle.

The Exhibition is open daily from the 20th - 27th July 11am-5pm, & Exhibition Closing 28th July, 11am-3pm
